KLCA Lake Plan

The KLCA Lake Plan was prepared by eight steering committee members over a period of two years between July, 2002 and July, 2004 with a great deal of input from shoreline property owners and KLCA Members. All members received a copy free of charge in 2004 and new members since that date should also have received a copy free.

The purpose of the Lake Plan was to provide an opportunity for all property owners to identify their values, what they hold near and dear and to identify issues and concerns that they believed should be addressed by the Executive of the KLCA.

In order to gather the information, we conducted an initial survey, held two workshops, kept members informed through the February newsletters, and Reflections, provided ballots for members to indicate preferences on plans that we developed, and we later conducted a second survey to give members an opportunity to let us know how they think we are doing and to identify new issues and concerns (results were published in Reflections 2006).

The current membership of this Lake Plan committee is as follows:

We meet fairly regularly as a group to keep all the chair persons up to date and to use the group for problem solving in the belief that many heads are better than one.
