Environment Canada allows access to real time water levels reporting for Kawagama Lake. This information can be accessed by logging on to the Environment Canada website at http://www.wateroffice.ec.gc.ca. From there, go to "Text Search", then "Ontario", then the disclaimer and finally "Kawagama".

The scale used on their graph does not correspond to the MNR scale of meters above sea level. To convert, simply add the Environment Canada level to the conversion faction 346.085.

e.g.: A value of 8.7 on the Environment Canada site becomes 8.7 + 346.085 = 354.785 m.

This figure can be compared to the target value for the date as seen on the Operating Rules MNR chart found in the Committees / Lake Levels section of this website.
