Let the beach games begin! The KLCA Regatta is just three days away and we're looking forward to having you join us on Saturday, August 2 at Moorelands Camp from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Please Remember:

  • Renew or sign up for a KLCA membership at Regatta at the membership table and you'll receive a free copy of Cottage Life & our Reflections magazine.

  • Non-KLCA members must pay a small fee to participate ($5 each or $15/family, including any guests)

  • Bring your own life jackets and favourite paddle, canoes are supplied

  • Bring cash for purchasing BBQ and Raffle Table tickets

  • Sunscreen is a must!

  • No alcoholic beverages, smoking/vaping allowed on Camp property

  • No pets on Camp property

  • Stay close to the Regatta activity areas. No wandering off onto Camp property or buildings!

We Need More Volunteers!!!

We are still searching for a few volunteers. Even if you only have a few hours to spare between 10 am to 4pm, it will help and the event can't be a success without you!

Volunteer Roles Needed:

  • Beach game judges & assistants

  • Judges for swimming and runners to share results with the scorekeepers

  • Set-up and cleanup crew

  • 2 Lifeguards

  • 1 Starter (preferably one with lifeguard training, stationed on the starter boat for the canoe race)

We are also still urgently looking for a Raffle Table lead and BBQ lead volunteer position. These are high impact roles that contribute greatly to the funds we donate back to the Camp. If interested, please contact either Debbie Gabura (debbie@wacdancewear.ca) or Kim Daries (daries.k@yahoo.com) to learn more.

Please contact Regatta Chair, Debbie Gabura with any questions or to donate last-minute raffle prizes at debbie@wacdancewear.ca.

Thanks so much to our KLCA members who contribute, support and give so much time to this event, and to those who come out and participate. See you all on the beach!
